As SUNN takes its place among full-fledged universities, we are guided by our new strategic direction encapsulated in our comprehensive agenda: RISEN UP. This strategic framework outlines our vision and goals across seven strategic areas: Research, Technology, and Innovation; Internationalization, Extension, and Linkages; Sustainability of Good Governance; Excellence in Academics and Services; Novelty in Practices; University Recognition and Ranking; and People or Human Resource Development. Each area is strategically aligned to propel SUNN into a new era of academic distinction and societal impact.
Approved by the SUNN Board of Regents on July 26, 2024, the SUNN Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for 2025-2029 is an elucidation of the university’s plan of action to attain its goal of research synergy, global impact and excellence in the next 5 years, and contribute to its vision of becoming a glocally recognized futures ready inclusive university niching in science and technology.
This strategic plan is the product of teamwork, thorough research, and a deep understanding of the educational landscape. It guides our decisions and measures our progress.
