SUNN Faculty Complete Advanced Short Course on Sustainable Dairy Production Systems at Massey University

Two faculty members of the State University of Northern Negros, Dr. Mae Ann Tongol and Dr. Chiremy Pillones, successfully completed the “Advanced Short Course on Sustainable Dairy Production Systems for Selected Higher Education Institutions in the Philippines” program. The training, hosted by Massey University in New Zealand from November 17 to December 1, 2024, was funded by the CHED-Higher Education Upskilling and Study for Advancement of Staff and Faculty (HUSAY) grant.

This program provided Dr. Tongol and Dr. Pillones with advanced knowledge and skills that will significantly enhance the university’s efforts in advancing agricultural education and research. Their participation underscores the university’s dedication to faculty development and its pursuit of sustainable agricultural innovations that benefit both academic and community stakeholders.
