“In Scientia et Servitio” (In Science and Service)The Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology draws inspiration from the Christian ideal of service. The College educates students for leadership and responsibility defined in terms of service to others and society. A college education lacking this dimension is an education deficient in moral foundation.

NATURE

The Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology (NONESCOST), Sagay City, Negros Occidental is a public, non-sectarian, non-profit institution established through the efforts of Congressman Alfredo G. Marañon, Jr. in order to promote science and technology in the service area.

CHARTER

Republic Act 11859 converted the school into the State University of Northern Negrtos in Brgy. Rizal, Sagay City from Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology.
