Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs

WELCOME to the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Amidts this COVID 19 Pandemic the Office still calls for a concerted effort towards a dynamic, progressive and flexible inclusive education. Presence of the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) in the context of delivering quality educaiton at par with leading universities here and abroad has placed increasing pressure to the College to continually adjust to these changes while maintaining its competitiveness and relevance.  Industry 4.0 calls for an inclusive transformation of how higher education institutions deliver its academic and non-academic services.  The need to adapt and innovate instructional delivery and learning modalities that exhibit reflective and interdisciplinary thinking is the trend.  The demands of IR4 possess an obligation to the college to come out of its shell and give the best learning experiences for students to be prepared for the jobs.  The College should address the shortage of skills that the new jobs will demand in the future.

Hence, the NONESCOST Academic Affairs Roadmap 2025 is developed in response to these developments and challenges and to help the College reposition itself into becoming more competitive and responsive to the needs of its stakeholders.  Towards this end, an UPGRADEd NONESCOST will shine brighter if not brightest as it soar high to be a State University of Northern Negros (SUN Negros).

In NONESCOST, WE HEAL as ONE, WE LEARN as ONE.
