The Municipality of Toboso congratulates the Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology for becoming the State University of Northern Negros (SUNN). The Office of the Sangguniang Bayan has issued Resolution No. 21, s. 2024. The resolution, moved by Hon. Richard M. Jaojoco and seconded by Hon. John Paul B. Dela Cruz was unanimously adopted by the municipal leaders during its assembly last January 23, 2024.
A large portion of SUNN’s students are from the Northern municipalities, mainly Toboso and Calatrava, the latter of which is also the location of SUNN’s Laga-an Campus. The university warmly accepts this resolution and commits to expanding the reach of its services to the Negrosanon youth in the years to come.
